Tracy is the Founder & Executive Director of the Chicago Justice Project. Tracy has nearly two decades of experience researching and working within criminal justice systems. He is currently a PhD student at the University of Illinois at Chicago in the Department of Criminology, Law, and Justice. He founded CJP 12 years ago to challenge the information asymmetry there exists between Chicago’s criminal justice system and the communities they serve. This power dynamic serves to handicap communities in their effort to both engage their justice system as co-creators of safety in their communities and hold the system accountable for their practices.
