As the Manager of Impact and Advoacy at the Public Library Association, a division of the American Library Association, I am tasked with the exciting opportunity to create and implement new data projects that will help improve its internal and external operations. I was hired in January 2015 to deploy and implement a Performance Measurement project as part of a Gates Foundation grant. Prior to working at the PLA, I was Senior Planner at the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) developing outreach strategies and conducting stakeholder engagement and advocacy activities with external partners and legislative officials. In 2010 I was hired to work at CMAP to implement energy efficiency programming as part of a $25 million Department of Energy grant awarded to the agency in 2010. In May of 2010 I attained my Masters in International Public Affairs with a certificate in Energy Analysis and Policy from University of Wisconsin, Madison. Before returning to school worked for 5 years with U.S. Senator Russ Feingold as a Foreign Policy Legislative Aide and Immigration Caseworker. I am a highly organized, energetic individual with a strong work ethic who loves taking on new challenges and responsibilities.
