Good Tech Fest Utah is a 3 day, invitation only retreat in the mountains for a select 80-100 social sector leaders. This is an opportunity to connect with your peers, share lessons learned in supporting and applying data and technology to social sector issues, and learn about cutting edge advancements. This event is for philanthropists, technologists, nonprofit leaders, and infrastructure nerds alike. We are focused on continuing to nurture and bring together a group of leaders who share the mission of using data and technology to drive impact.

We are limited in our capacity for this year’s event and so are curating the individuals and organizations that are invited. But we know there are so many great folks doing awesome work with emerging technologies outside of our networks. So we want to hear from you and why you want to attend this year’s event!
The Agenda

Fly into Salt Lake City airport (an international hub for Delta) and take a complementary shuttle to Sundance. After settling in we'll have a welcome reception with food & drinks.

Today we will have a series of facilitated small workshops and roundtables on topics such as philanthropic investments in AI, the ethics and practicalities of data sharing, challenges in scaling impact products, and how to increase equity and representation in our organizations. We will also leave time for self-reflection, networking, and enjoying the beautiful location and resort.

This will be our most traditional conference day with a series of plenary talks, fireside chats, and panels that we will be broadcasting to an international audience of virtual attendees. As always we hope to raise the voices of practitioners doing interesting work and deserving of a larger audience. You will not want to miss.

Unfortunately all good things must come to an end. But before everyone heads to the airport mid-day, we will have a couple off-the-record fireside chats with leaders willing to share the raw experience of doing this work. After saying goodbye, hop in a complementary shuttle back to the airport.

Our in-person invites are focused on executives at nonprofits, grantmaking foundations, consultants, and tech partners. We are looking to create a community of practitioners leveraging emerging technologies to drive impact.

The Sundance Resort is one of those magical, special places I keep returning to. For three days we'll take over the resort and it's mountain peaks, streams, and awesome restaurants for a unique Good Tech Fest unlike anything we've ever done before.
